Because users can calibrate easier than they are able to with bottom-up DLP printers.
The vat doesn't need to be emptied between prints because the unwanted hardened resin bits (that usuallyneeds to be cleaned up in the case of bottom-up printers) sink to the bottom of the vat. This allows users to start printing as soon as the previous print is removed from the buildplate, saving even more time in between already super fast prints.
Bottom up printers normally need a silicone layer which has to be replaced quite often. Gizmo 3D Printers have no replacement parts whatsoever.
DIFFERENT COLOURS AT ONCE
Users have the ability to print multible objects in different colors by using a 'multi color vat'. Because of the top down method of printing, this can easily be added on.

Our mission is to bring innovative, quality 3D printers and accessories to the wider/global 3D printing community at competitive prices.
We strive to make 3D printing fast, fun and efficient for our users. Our goals for 2016 include:
1. A successful IndieGoGo campaign
2. Securing debt funding that will help us grow and reach our full potential
3. Finding 500 of the largest dealers and distributors globally
To keep delivering an innovative, quality product that the 3D printing community can believe in at competitive prices and
giving our customers the printing experience they deserve.
WE ARE EXTREMELYPASSIONATE ABOUT THE USER EXPERIENCE
GROWS WITH YOU
Our printers are built in such a way that it allows you to add our range of add-ons anytime as you can afford them. The machines are customisable.
We don't limit users to use our resin - the resin we use is from the company called Fun To Do - their prices are great, starting at only $65 a litre.
When buying your Gizmo 3D Printer, 5 liters of Fun To Do resin is included in the price so that you can start printing right away.
EVERYTHING ABOUT OUR PRINTERS WAS CREATED WITH THE USER IN MIND:
The price of the machines will start at only US $2950 on IndieGoGo on 1 March 2016.

Unlike most 3D printers on the market, our machines are made from quality parts that won't let you down. There is only 1 moving part during printing and that is the stainless steel buildplate.
The electronics we use are standard off the shelf components that are easy to find and carry a manufacturers guarantee.
LESS DOWNTIME GUARANTEED!
We guarantee our users less downtime through:
Our unique printing process
Objects are printed in a vat of resin using UV projectors that project an animation of all of the layers of the object onto the surface of the resin, curing it as it plays. Eliminating the use of an extruder that can get clogged up in the middle of your printing.
No replacement parts
Many other 3D printers require a silicone layer to operate. This layer is an extra expense and takes time to replace that users of Gizmo 3D Printers won't have to worry about.
CUTTING EDGE SOFTWARE
Our software has features that sets it miles apart from others for example:
users are able to tell the printer to print 20 layers slow for higher definition, 20 layers fast, 20 layers hollow (to save resin), 20 layers solid. All in the same object.
And much much more...
PLEASE HELP US TO
SPREAD THE WORD
We have the best DLP printer story to tell, but the smallest marketing budget to tell it! Every little bit helps, please tell others if you like what you see.
Having a successful IndieGoGo campaign launch on 1 March 2016 means we can do even more for our users and the 3D printing community.
When the printed object emerges from the liquid resin, it sits on top of a stainless steel buildplate - it doesn't hang off of a buildplate when it gets pulled from the liquid resin as is the case with other resin based printers.
Thiis allows users to add screws or other metal parts into their prints during the printing process. Have you seen this with any other 3D printer?
